I am a tax lawyer by training specializing in cross-border wealth planning, private placement life insurance (PPLI), and international structuring for high-net-worth individuals. I am the founder of Alpina Legacy, an advisory firm focused on independent, fiduciary-driven solutions for complex international clients. With extensive experience in wealth planning, I advise private clients, family offices, and financial institutions on the design and implementation of compliant PPLI structures across multiple jurisdictions. My work focuses particularly on tax-efficient asset protection, cross-border investment planning, and regulatory-compliant insurance solutions.
I am also the author of a book dedicated to Private Placement Life Insurance, in which I analyze the legal, tax, and structural aspects of PPLI as a global wealth planning tool. In addition to my advisory practice, I teach on the topic of PPLI at Fudan University in Shanghai, where IÂ contribute to executive education programs focused on international wealth management. I am a regular speaker at international conferences on insurance-based wealth planning and cross-border structuring.
