ELIAS BACHMANN - CEO
Born in Switzerland and raised in the United States, I grew up in an international family spanning Switzerland, Peru, and India.Â
A CFA Charterholder, I spent 16 years at BSW in Boulder, where I helped build the firm into a USD 2 billion registered investment advisor. During that time I oversaw the investment group, focusing on disciplined portfolio processes designed to deliver efficient, scalable solutions across public and private asset classes.
Today at ROVS, I focus on providing investment solutions for American clients. My investment approach centers on globally diversified, go-anywhere portfolios that target risk while drawing from the full spectrum of publicly traded assets—including commodities, precious metals, global equities, bonds, and currencies. The strategy is thematically driven and long-term oriented, emphasizing adaptability across changing market environments.
Outside the office, I am a husband, father and an avid outdoorsman, enjoying ski touring, mountaineering, mountain biking, surfing, and paddleboarding.
